Dustyn Bork created two series of painted works. The first: representational glimpses of street views and architectural moments in the Old Town of Veliko Turnovo. The second: abstractly referencing bridge-like structures in homage to the Yantra River and the history of changes in the Veliko Turnovo region.

Exhibition organised at TaM by Theatre of NO; the place + time for Bork to create made possible by Iatrus Residency programme – with thanks to Martina Yordanova, Artistic Director.

The two series contrast representational and abstract forms to frame the environment and draw attention to liminal spaces within Bulgaria. Bork explores the color and pigment of built environment; physical and metaphorical passages.
